TOY SHOP DISTRIBUTION EVENT INFORMATION
Toys
for Tots way of distributing the toys collected and purchased is by
opening a Toy Shop for parents to come select toys for their children. We
ask that you do not bring your children with you to Toy Shop to keep the
surprise of Christmas morning.
We are excited to announce that Dale Willey
Automotive has donated space to us this year!
Toy Shop will be located at the Dale Willey Automotive Pre-Owned Showroom
at 2800 Iowa Street, Lawrence KS 66046
Toy shop will be open December 17th to
December 21st
Hours to Shop:
December 17th
thru December 20th from 10am to 6pm
December 21st: from 10am to Noon
NOTE: December 21st is the last day
of toy shop
Be prepared before you come out to toy shop to
save yourself some time.
Douglas County Toys for Tots does not have a pre-application
to receive toys, however you will fill out an application when you arrive at
Toy Shop.
To receive toys from Toys for Tots you must NOT have received other toys from any
other agencies in the community this year.
We require a few documents from you to receive
toys.
· Proof of Douglas County residency (Piece of mail, bill, lease. Anything with your name and address.)
· Birth Certificate for each child. If you do not have a birth certificate you can get something from you Doctor or your child's school. It must have your name, Child's Name and your child's Birthdate.
Please remember all donated toys and money stay in Douglas County for the children in need in our Community and all money donated is used to purchase toys.
